After securing its third consecutive Class 2A Area 7 title, the Horseshoe Bend softball team made quick work of the AHSAA Class 2A Regional Tournament pool. Advancing to its second consecutive state tournament berth, but doing so through the winners bracket. Although falling in both games at state, Horseshoe Bend finished with a 24-8 overall record.
